I’m not even sure what to make of this anymore. We’re barely 4 months into this dumpster fire1 of a presidency and this is already on the table ( archive ).
I don’t get it. I don’t get it and I’m scared what this might be the start of. This country has stood for ~300 years as a democracy and now some narcissistic “billionaire” becomes president and now it’s going to be an empire. I’m so sorry for my son. I’m so sorry I couldn’t stop this travesty from unrolling and leaving you with the burning wreckage of what was once a great place. I know it’s not my fault, directly, but I couldn’t do enough to stop it for you. Please forgive me.
