Kennedy wants to Ban Food Additives

From Politico. I have no problems with banning some additives. We have far too many in our foods, many of them don't actually do anything. I am also in favor of reducing the amount of ultra-processed foods that get released.
I don't like Kennedy. I don't like his policies on vaccination, on disease safety and just his politics and associations in general. However, I am willing to admit where he is right. Food additives and ultra-processed food is a danger to the public. Sugar (and it's sweeter alternatives, like high-fructose corn syrup) can actually be more addictive than cocaine. Reducing the public's dependence on this is not only a win for healthier foods, but it's a win for healthier people in general.
