The Little Wii that Could

So. I was okay with the idea that the Wii was, to put it simply, underpowered. The console is cheap, fun and simple to use. The games for it looked good, but you only needed to look at a PC or XB360/PS3 title to really kind of grimace.

There are developers working on that, apparently. Video after the jump.

I am always amazed at what people can do when they really put their mind to a problem. Linux is a great example of what you can cram into the smallest possible format. Now some creative Wii developers are actually pushing the limits of what the Wii can do, graphically. I can’t wait to see it in action!

I know that the Wii will never have XB360/PS3/PC graphics, but with this news and the already solidified knowledge that Wii games can be huge amounts of fun and pretty (without being an FPS/MMORPG), I’m pretty stoked about the future of this little white box.
